My first engagement shoot of 2011 is of the lovely Jamie and Kate. Jamie popped the question to Kate just before Christmas and they've been dying to get their engagement photos done.

We met up at Wollaton Park, Nottingham and discussed what they wanted from the shoot.

Kate warned me that Jamie was not the posing type, so it was essential that the photos I captured were natural. Jamie adapted very well after a little bit of guidance.

For most of the shoot we just strolled around the park while Tia (the dog) had fun running all over the place.

The only problem was the ridiculous wind playing havoc with Kate's hair, and the looming darkness as the bad weather came in.

Luckily Kate had an amazing woolly hat and the weather held out until the drive home.
